How do I sign in?
On the welcome screen, tap Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. Pakt uses your existing Apple or Google account to identify your vault — there's no Pakt password to remember.
How do I sign an NDA in person?
Open Pakt, tap Start NDA, fill in both parties' names plus the agreement details, and tap through to the Sign step. Pick "In-Person" when asked. Both parties sign on the same phone with their finger. Pakt records a witness video automatically and prompts the second party for Face ID. The completed NDA lands in your Vault.
How does remote signing work?
Same as above, but at the sign-mode chooser pick "Remote." You sign on your device. Pakt generates a 7-day signing link you can text or email to the other party. They open the link in any browser — Safari, Chrome, anything — and sign without installing the app or creating an account. The signed NDA flows back to your Vault automatically.
The witness video isn't recording.
Open iOS Settings → Pakt → Camera, and make sure the toggle is on. Pakt only uses the front camera, only on the Sign step, and never records audio.
Face ID isn't working during signing.
Open iOS Settings → Pakt → Face ID, and make sure the toggle is on. If Face ID still isn't being offered, your device may not have it enrolled — go to iOS Settings → Face ID & Passcode and confirm Face ID is set up.
I got a new phone. How do I get my vault back?
Sign in with the same Apple or Google account on the new device. If you turned on Cloud Sync (Pro only) and saved a Recovery Code, your encrypted vault restores automatically. Without Cloud Sync, vault contents only live on the original device.
How do I delete my account?
Tap the Account tab, open Account & Data, and tap Delete forever. This permanently removes every NDA in your account, every file uploaded to our servers, your local cache, and your Pakt sign-in. The action cannot be undone.
How do I cancel my Pakt Pro subscription?
Pakt Pro is billed through Apple. Open iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Pakt Pro → Cancel Subscription. You keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period, after which the account reverts to free.
I was charged but Pakt still says I'm on the free tier.
First, fully close and reopen the app. If Pro still hasn't activated, tap Account → Restore Purchases. If neither resolves it, email us at operator@classofnone.com with your Apple ID receipt and we'll fix it.
Is Pakt legal advice?
No. Pakt provides legal information and NDA templates designed to meet E-SIGN Act and UETA requirements across all 50 states. For matters with specific legal requirements, consult a licensed attorney.
All sensitive content (NDA text, signatures, witness videos, party names) is encrypted on your device with AES-GCM 256 before any cloud upload. Your encryption key lives in iCloud Keychain. Pakt's servers store ciphertext only — we cannot read your agreements.
